About the Role:

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and security of Trellix’s XDR platform, particularly in areas involving Identity and Access Management (IAM). The role combines deep technical expertise in automation testing with a strong understanding of secure cloud-based systems.

This position requires hands-on experience in test automation, integration with CI/CD pipelines, and working across teams to deliver secure, high-quality software under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and implement test plans, test cases, and automated test suites.
• Identify, analyze, and document software defects during testing.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain product quality.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or TeamCity.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and tool development.
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments, actively participating in sprints and reviews.
• Ensure security and scalability standards are met in testing IAM-related features.

Key Technical Skills:

JavaScript, Automation Testing Frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress), AWS (Lambda, EKS), Java, Node.js, Angular, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity), Agile/Scrum, QA Automation

Nice-to-have Skills: IAM platforms (Okta, Auth0, Keycloak, Ping Identity)

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of professional experience as an SDET.
• Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript and test automation frameworks.
• Proven experience with AWS services (especially Lambda and EKS).
• Familiarity with Java, Node.js, and Angular.
• Ability to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, delivering under strict timelines.
• Exposure to Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems is a strong advantage.
